I went to the VIew this past weekend with a few of my friends. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we absolutely loved the atmosphere. I will be visting the View again soon, as well as recommending it to all of my friends!

Service was awesome once we got to the bar. Getting there sucked. First had to call three times before we got someone to answer the phone. Waited at the host stand for what seemed to be five minutes without having an employee walk past us. We gave up on a table and went to the bar. Katie and Jeff were awesome bartenders, kept us entertained. However the food sucked. Steak was cooked way over done. Tuna was chewy and tasted old. And the food took way too long considering how many people were in the place. Had a good time on our Valentines day thanks to some genuine service from the staff. But I think management has some serious issues to work out before this restaurant deserves a better rating.

I like this place. It holds a special place in my heart: One night I decided to meet a girl there from college who I had a huge crush on, then I randomly bumped into my ex-girlfriend who proceeded to cry about 'us' and then when bar closed I went upstairs to my girlfriends place and I woke her up and we did it.

The happy hour is great, but I was troubled by the service. Johnny the bartender was fantastic, but I watched Donovan treat a customer like dirt when it wasn't deserved. To make matters worse, the customer was a resident of the building. I'm going to guess if a person lives there, they can afford the $5 cab ride to an Uptown bar with better service. Anyway, nice atmosphere and tap selection. I just hope they realize that valet service+crappy bartenders = failed restaurant.

I disagree, the menu changed and is quite good and more reasonably priced. Try the Pastrami sandwich with fries or the fish tacos. 2 best and best priced items on the menu. Wash down with $3 beers.

All the nasty old men where I work go here to pick up girls young enough to be their granddaughters. Food's not good enough to deal with that.

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and it was a great choice. The food was definitely the highlight of the night. I did our reservations online and they brought out a free dessert and a gift card congratulating us on our one-year wedding anniversary...even though we aren't married. We graciously accepted it though. The only downfall was our waiter, who was a complete meathead fresh out of the gym.

Where good looking people go to pick up good looking people. Young professionals that have money or do well faking it. This concept has a time in everyones life I feel. Good tap selection and nightly happy hours tip this from a 3 to a 4.

The service here is notoriously bad. Just ask anyone that actually lives in the building (CBC), you will get treated like dirt because they think they are your only option. I sometimes cannot believe this place is still in business. The staff appears to think they have other things to do other than to perform their job, which (hate to tell you guys) is to serve customers. Even the manager is completely rude!

We had a new waitress, who actually did very well. She may not have known what things were on the menu,but she was very attentive. The food was amazing, service great and the valet cheap. The free parking is difficult to see, but with valet only $5, why not?

I loved it. The bartender was attentive and very friendly, unlike some of the uptown establishments. Good choice of wines on happy menu -- love the burgers

Excellent appetizers and cocktails! A little pricey, but fish tacos are filling and delicious for a good price.
