Stella’s Fish Café and Prestige Oyster Bar is a massive complex of seafood gluttony. They don't only serve seafood, however. Stella's offers a wide range of steaks, mouthwatering ribs, and large, creole-style desserts.



At night, Stella's opens its expansive bar (and in the summer, rooftop bar) to hordes of well dressed uptown professionals, giving off the air of downtown Minneapolis, while nestled in the lower paced uptown area. The bar staff is some of the most experienced in the city, just try to stump them on a drink order! Music is usually classic rock or 80's, but all types of music is played here. Stella's also has an incredible Happy Hour.



The rooftop is probably the BEST feature, it holds 300 people with a large, fully stocked bar in the center. Grab a table up there and soak in the views, as they cannot be beat anywhere else.



NOTE: Plan large parties here! Stella's has 2 private areas for large groups, private parties, and corporate events.

okay service and drinks, but the weekend crowd is basically the same bunch of sluts and dicks you'd expect from bar abilene. so that's a downer.

Screw the manager he is an asshole who has lost control of this so called establishment!

So, I went back to this place again after saying I never would and actually walked out again.We went with a big group for my girlfriend's 23rd birthday and received the rudest service ever. The waiter yelled at our DD because he wouldn't show him his ID. He told my girlfriend her ID was a fake and made her show him all her credit cards and anything with her name on it and then said he still thought it was fake and threw at her face. Apparently you either need to be a total dousche or a moron to work at this place

They have the BEST crab legs! Their happy hour is awesome, great oysters!! Oh and the clam chowder -no words for how tasty it is. Great service in both bar and dining area.

Stella's is great...the atmosphere does depend on when you go. You get a different experience if you are going for a quiet dinner thursday night...or if you come in friday late night for 2 for 1s expecting a table on the patio. Last time I just asked the server what their favorites on the menu were and my party had a lot of fun.
