Sauce Spirits and Sound Bar is a brand new restaurant and live music venue on the corner of Lake and Lyndale. Sauce is a rock club that doesn't feel exclusive or pretentious like some of the other live venues in the city. It's a great place to check out emerging local bands and DJ's without leaving Uptown or paying a stiff cover, you can even buy local records from a vending machine inside of the bar. There are two full bars, dine in and take out menu's, and kitchen that keeps rocking until 1:30 in the morning. The great Italian menu is full of old world recipes that are equally delicious and economical. In no time this place will be a staple of the Uptown scene.

everytime i go to sauce, it's either for a show or a happy hour and no one else has hh on the weekends. free jukebox. some good music. lines at the bathroom during shows r no fun but what can you do?

Never been to a place with worse service. The food is way over priced and is horrible. Who wants to spend $7.50 for three tiny pieces of crostini bread? Crab cakes are deep fried, which makes them super greasy and the pizza is undercooked and raw. The owner or manager came by our table wearing a dirty old baseball cap, and he looked like he was homeless...Not a fan!

i seem to find myself at sauce about 3 times a week. i go for trivia, bands and to eat. it was a little scary when it first opened, very bare and uninviting.. but now its one of the most inviting places ever. def a place where you can go by yourself and still have a good time! now that says something about the service.

I have been going to Sauce for awhile now and I gotta say it has improved a lot. I wasn't the biggest fan at first but gave it another chance and it has become one of my favorite happy hour spots, can't go wrong with their food specials and $3 cocktails. I like how low key it is and the fact they support local artist and musicians.

i love sauce. its a good place to see local music. there is almost always a show going on and it's always a good time. try the absinthe, it'll mess you up!
