Rudolph’s BBQ (famous for…RIBS!) is a neighborhood favorite located right on the corner of Franklin & Lyndale at the start of Uptown. Rudolph’s is a great choice because they offer great nightly drink specials and 2-for-1’s all the time. They also offer different cocktails on special on a regular basis. The crowd here is more racially mixed than a lot of the other Uptown choices and music varies from rock to classic R&B. Late night crowds are young, but dinner crowds are a little older; everyone dresses casually. Dinners range from $13-24, but sandwiches and burgers are cheaper.



Service is decent, but it’s sometime Rudolph’s gets so packed that it is hard to find a vacant table in the bar area, which is the only place that they offer their drink specials. The best part is that Rudolph’s offers food until close. They also have a weekend breakfast menu (10 am- 2pm).



THRIFTY TIP They offer FREE parking in a lot ½ block down and across Lyndale Avenue or on the street.

This is Mpls' bar of brotherly love. It's frequently 50/50 black and white. The rib tips are usually delicious and the staff are nice. I liked it better when the Buffalo wings were $4.

I have lived in the Wedge neighborhood for 5 years and Rudolphs is the easily the best place to hang out or grab a bite to eat. Everyone that works there is friendly, the happy hour is great and the burgers are fantastic. I find myself in there at least once a week. Keep it up Rudy's!!

This spot has a great happy hour...love to go there and chill-out with friends. BUT! The service is awful! That includes wait staff, bartenders and the management! They really need to get that together and then it would be all good at Rudy's!

Great happy hour! Entertaining mix of people, good drinks. The brisket is not as good as Famous Dave's, but everything else was good.

This place is a class act of its own. Truly one of a kind. The specials are different than normal prices - so that's nice. The servers are polite and food's tasty. Nothing to write home about, but nonetheless worth a few visits.
