now that the patio is open Pizza Luce is the best chill spot in uptown, though the weekends have been filling up, I do enjoy me a pint and slice from time to time.

The pizza is pretty good, but 5 dollars extra just for soy cheese? And another 5 for veggie sausage or pepperoni? I can get an old school style vegan pizza for 17 bucks at galactic, but at Luce it would cost me about 40. Booooo.

Hands down best pizza in town. Unique types of pizza that you can't get anywhere else. The service is a little slow, but it's worth the wait. Pretty casual place, servers keep it real and are cool. For example, I was waiting for friends to arrive and there was a 15 minute wait. The hostess asked if I'd want to order a beer, I did and they put it on my table's tab, no problem.

Can we start a petition to get brunch served at this one like they have in Downtown and Duluth? I wish they had the build your own bloody mary bar like they have at the Duluth one too. Still, I love this place.

Super pros: chicken wings are awesome (but the price could be better), artwork on walls Pros: atmosphere, location, beer selection, patio Cons: flavor of the pizza (they rely too much on dry oregano and salt)

Very Very cool place to get food. From the art on the wall to the hip staff to the great food... this place in on the top of my list of favorite uptown eateries

Normally I only come on Thrifty Hipster to hate on places that suck. However, Pizza Luce keeps it real. The pizza is fire and the specials are legit. I would definitely recommend it.

The food is amazing. I really like that they let local artist display their stuff on the walls. The Luce in Duluth is way better though. It has a stage for concerts and a seperate bar area.

i waited and waited at the counter for someone to help me, they were in the kitchen eating pizza, talking, and laughing with occasional glances at me. i guess customer service isn't priority here.

Hip & fun. Essential for the first stop of partying for any crew-- especially if Vegan. Try the rinotta, or the soy cheese. both are rockin'.

cheese is fake (yes they use the cheese beads like dominos) at the seward location, we waited 30 minutes to be greeted, and 20 minutes after to get our drinks.

Way over rated pizza. Just a grunge hangout that the drunken uptowners think is good pizza.
