I went in there this past Monday night, and I could not believe what happened. I sat down at around 7:15 with my girlfriend and the server came over to our table. After the polite exchange of pleasentries, I asked about any specials. She said $5.00 for a burger and a beer. Now I've been roped into this scam before but she assured me that the burger was the "real deal." She said "a pint (16 o.z.)Bud, Bud Light, or Mich Goldy" Long story short, burgers came out, they were big and juicy, had another beer ($2.50 after that) got the bill (around $13) Happy girlfriend and we'll for sure be back next week! Well Done!

Wayyy too much of a sports-bar feeling. I had heard that they had good pizza, so my (now ex)girlfriend and I went there for dinner, only to be overwhelmed by the cacophony of sports that was going on. I don't think there is a single square foot of wall space that isn't taken by a television, and the chorus of hoots and hollers every couple of minutes got old VERY fast. Our waiters seemed grumpy, and the pizza was average if anything. To sum it up, bad food, bad service and bad atmosphere. I won't be wasting my time or money here again.

sunday wait/bar staff is the best in town. there is also a jolly customer in there who buys grape apes for anyone with a pulse.

I agree with the assessment of the new and not improved hh. The great specials and the nice patio made it a somewhat frequent spot for me and my friends this summer, but now that the prices are not so special, I think we might be done with the place. With so many great places to drink and eat in the Uptown area, why hang out at a bar you can find in every suburb in the cities, unless it's for a good deal?

This place used to have the best hh, but their specials have changed and now its just average. No longer are taps $2.50, now just a $1 off, and the list of $2 apps has shrinked significantly. Also, the late night hh is not valid on friday. Used to be my fave place to go for hh in uptown, i dont plan on making a point to go back anytime soon.

Good place for reasonable priced food. Lots o beer! Not so great at peak hours. Casual, which is bascially how i judge a bar/restaurant, there are too many places in uptown filled with yuppies. I feel like a t-shirt and jeans wont cut it in some places.

I give this uptown suburban sore a 3 because of one feature that has me run in there for a quick one (and I really mean one) from time to time upon passings. Mystery Beers! Hooray Beer! Old C. Has one thing going for it, lots of beer I have never had. When its slow at the bar (IE: The bartender is not busy) ask politely for a 'Mystery Beer'. Most of the bartenders will oblige then disappear in the back only to return with some strange brew usually not on the menu. Please note that when ordering this you must not be picky. Also you must drink the beer and tip well for the effort. The only downer is that sometimes they can't or won't do it. If that happens... Have a Jag and move on.

Great happy hour! The little pizza for $2 is really good! The artichoke dip is horrid, so wouldn't recommend that. Comfortable atmosphere.

Friendly staff & good service even at midnight! Crowd is thinner after 11p, but that's good if you need a quieter place to just get a beer & a dessert. (Thanks to the nice blonde server-girl w/the nose piercing for getting me dessert even after the kitchen closed!)Love the patio for a casual summer afternoon HH. OC may be a chain, not hipster-ish or trendy like its Uptown neighbors, but everyone needs a casual place for some wings & pizza now and then!

Another 'burb bar in minneapolis with a okay selection of beer and standard bar food. looks cool but wouldn't look no further.

This place is awesome..Why put up with the snobs and yuppies at the so called, overpriced, "chic" bars in Uptown?..There are real people here from the neighborhood that just want to kick back and have fun. Good Service and good food..Best Happy Hour in Uptown

I had a crush on the hot server a couple years ago until I found out she had a child and a boyfriend. But overall, this place is cool. But what was up with the bathrooms a couple months ago...worst smelling bathrooms ever, must have had sewage problems. Didn't matter to me, I got tore up

annie the waitress is a girl version of a pimp. this is the best place for sunday football. all the need is to get back chicken balls and happy hour pizza.

Really? Really? You would even consider going to an Old Chicago in the middle of Minneapolis? Okay, they have 1,000 different beers, but the majority of them are watery Milwaukee junk. But seriously, with all of the great options for bars and restaurants in the middle of this city, going to OC is like going to McDonalds or Burger King. Try something new, not something familiarly boring.

happy hour on the patio is the only time this place is anything all that special. staff is wonderful, drinks are cheap cheap cheap, and the food is decent.

if i could rate less than 1 I would. Keep uptown the way it should be. independant bars and owners with great ideas in diversity. Old chicago cookie cutter lame ass corporate places should not succeed in a place with as many options as uptown, downtown. Keep them in the burbs!

Not the worst place in town, but certainly nothing special. I think the patio is the best spot, otherwise you may be surrounded by loud children. And what's up with that bar? They keep the lights up so bright that it feels like closing time- not very relaxing. Food is decent, but in general there are many better choices (Green Mill).

Wed night is great! $2 corona, coors light, bud and best of all JAG! They even have Tang for Tangermeister shots. You have to check it out!

Great food, great service, great time. Pizza is very tasty, happy hour is so CHEAP it is unbelievable. Great place for a casual night.

what this place lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in a stellar happy hour. the $2.00 pizza is giant and the pepperoni rolls are delicious. there's a plethora of $2.50 taps to choose from. of course this place is frequented by assholes, but i'm usually too drunk to care.

The service is unpredictable, ranging from terrible to good, but has been improved as of late. There pizza is good and the rest is pretty average. The nice thing about this place is that you can allways go there to escape the insanity of some of the other places in Uptown if you are looking to have a chill night of good beer and conversation

We have eaten here a few times and had great service. Our food came reasonably quickly and was very tasty. This is a pizza/calzone place it doesn't have to be hip. If you want hip try downtown mpls and pay for it.

One of my friends likes to go here to play Big Buck hunter, other than that... The waitstaff is without a doubt, the most consistantly terrible of anywhere. You can plan on waiting at least 10-15 minutes before talking to a server...And that's when the place's empty! The happy hour appetizers are a pretty good deal tho.

Food is amazing. Probably some of the best pizza I have had. Lots of beers to try, so be prepared. Service has been average the past 3 or so times. No super fast service but it isn't overly slow. Booger- It takes about 45 minutes to bake a deepdish pizza. You are a moron.

Well, the downtown location was pretty awful so I thought I'd try this one. Holy crap. it was actually worse. The eden prarie one is the worst of them all however. this isn't just a couple bad experiences. they must as a company be commited to hiring the most inept rejects that perkins and mcdonalds don't want.

Apparently they only take reservations on Monday night and for only one group of people. The table they request seems to have the best view of the TV. Good happy hour at least.

The service there is something to be desired, It took them almost a hour to get our pizza to our table, and when they did finally bring it to our table they got our oder wrong. Sorry old Chicago better luck next time

if you eat in the resturant part, plan ahead 99-2000 hours to get served. AT the bar you will get served but only if you like generic whiteness imported from like, iowa.

Great Beer Selection. Also they have the "world beer tour" which gives prizes for consuming lots of beer. Great prices on appetizers from 10pm-12pm.
