Namaste Cafe is a cheery South Asian restaurant in uptown nestled in a large, bright, open, and cheery old Victorian style home. Diners can option for an intimate experience in a small secluded room or they can sit on the large active and social patio. Either way, the Namaste Cafe is a great spot for lunch or evening dining.



The highlight of the Namaste Cafe is the food. Natural and organic ingredients go in to handmade from scratch authentic entrees from India, Nepal, and Pakistan. They also have a great wine list and small, but eclectic list of taps and bottled beers. The first thing most diners note is the friendly and personable staff that serve the city's tastiest chai tea with a smile. But you'll soon grow to love the diversity of the menu and the freshness of everything.

This place used to have an awesome happy hour, everything was half off! They do have a great wine and drink list, it's too bad they had to cut back on their discounts. However, we received the worst service I've ever had. Anywhere. We were ordering happy hour appetizers, and everything took FOREVER. I mean, 30 mins for a little plate of potatoes, and over 45 mins for dumplings. We were one of 3 tables at the restaurant. At one point the server came over and told us the wait was our fault for ordering bison dumplings?! I hope that girl was fired.

Really good curry, special drinks, desserts. The owners are extremely nice.

Food is colonial but not authentic. Many recipes are poorly cooked and most of the people do not realize because they have not been to that part of the world. *** Extreme over-priced and under-serviced *** Pros: Nice environment, particularly the patio in summer. Chai is good.
