I miss the Leaning Tower! I used to live in the crap hole next door, and from the ages of 21-26 sat many a summer day sitting outside eating jalapeno poppers and watching boys ride bikes by....*sigh*

Hole in the wall type place, but the pizza is really good. It reminds me of places up north... no frills.

I like this place. Nothing fancy. Beer, pizza, burgers. A good "back-up bar" when everywhere else is full.

service at the bar is always superb. the tall bearded young man is most attentive bartender i have ever experienced. great music and a wonderful atmosphere

I love the owner of the leaning tower. Being openly gay myself this does not sound like the owner or his establishment. I have been going to the tower for many years and I have never been treated poorly. I am sorry you feel this way. This is one of the greatest places ever.

I arrived at the Leaning Tower to meet a friend who lives above the pizza shop. As I went up the stairs, for no apparent reason, the owner of The Leaning Tower of Pizza started swearing at me, and threatening to throw me off of the roof. He stood an inch from my face as I left, spitting and swearing at me, reeking of alcohol. He then made some sort of sexual homophobic comment to me, and stormed off into the restaurant. I WILL NEVER, EVER GIVE THIS A-HOLE A SINGLE DIME, OR EAT ANY OF HIS OVERRATED PIZZA.

Very comfortable and chill atmosphere for anyone. Even at 10-11 o'clock on a Saturday you can find a table. Love the pizza. However, unless you are on the patio or at the bar the service is TERRIBLE. One example, of many, was the time when a server said she'd be right back with our bill and we never saw her, or another server, again. After 30 minutes the bartender, who was pretty busy at the bar, ended up abandoning her post just to get us our bill. Yikes.

LT has the best happy hour in the neighborhood, but consistantly bad service (unless you sit at the bar). The food is good, but nothing special. They don't have Jag, or a really great beer selection. They sometimes have musicians and other fun stuff at night and a younger crowd.

Excellent food and nice pours from nice servers. I love the burgers here anytime of the week. I love that you can ask to change the channel to your hearts content with digi cable.

The "mean old lady" has worked there since the beginning of time. She is as much a part of the place as the drinks and the food. They should not get rid of her, maybe you should stop going there. P.S. She lives upstairs, how great is that?

A fun bar with great happy hour deals. The old lady was a little abrasive but turned out to be pretty nice. She even made us pumpkin bars on Halloween!

It’s okay- nothing special. The pizza isn’t the best- but I’m very hard to please when it comes to my pizza. They do have great drink specials and they have a fun (small) outdoor eating area- if you don’t mind the noise. It’s worth the trip if only for the beer specials. Bonus- free parking!

actually we do have pizza specials...I would access your "are these specials wrong?" button, but it does not work right now. so...If you check out our chalkboard, we have a special right now on the Carnivore for $9.95...before that and still, under special request, we have the Southwest Chicken pizza for $11.95. Also, daily,...7 days a week, we have appetizers on special from 4:30 to 6:30 and again from 10pm to midnight. That's right, it really is the best happy hour in town! ..and yeah, the remodeling look pretty good too.

We like the tower exspecially the uptown location. the staff is the reason we come back everyday. And the fact that there are lights and windows so you don't feel depressed as soon as so walk in the place. Also no need to worry about those annoying drunk college fuckers. The food is okay. But the ladies are what makes the place.

Best and friendliest service in town... a very relaxed place for neighborhood locals. Definitely not a destination spot for tourists, but a nice place to meet your friends after work. I've wandered down in my pajamas before.

This is a great place to hang out and enjoy good conversation. The bare food is OK, but the pizza is excellent. Service is adequate.

I gotten A LOT of attitude from the staff, but the food is always good and you can't beat the 2-4-1 deals. HINT: always sit in the bar area.

I heard Kevin Spacey worked at this joint for a year or so in preperation for a recent role as a server...any truth to that? I dig the Tower. The people saying how its not a bar should realize they are right...its NOT A BAR! Its a restraunt w/ a bar in it, so get over it. Pizza is top-notch IMHO. Don't go too often, but when I do I always enjoy myself.

If you want a REAL bar with good food, this is NOT it...I was less than impressed with the food (mediocre at best) and the environment was juvenile- The server I had was less than friendly- All said I didn't feel like I was at a real bar, maybe a Chucky Cheese or something (bad pizza included).

I LOVE the leaning tower house pizza (who would have thought celery on pizza would be so good?) & the drink specials are excellent! However the atmosphere is rather blah & the few times I've dropped by alone the fellow patrons at the bar can be rather anti-social.

We love the daytime happy hours, pizzas, and a decent selection of beers. We would, however, like to see the occasional pizza deal. Best only when you can sit outside, otherwise its kinda lame.
