Tall ceilings and bright colors welcome you as you enter one of the newest uptown eateries, Indio Mexican Cuisine. A totally authentic menu of coastal village delicacies start with seafood, cerviches, and flavorful simple food, but include classic Mexican dishes as well.

Restaurant Indio is very open, with the bar and kitchen in the center of the room, allowing guests to watch the chef as he prepares freshly made tortillas or fires your meal in a large brick oven. Large windows and great layout make it a comfortable, yet social atmosphere and a great place for the late night.

The bar serves up multiple varieties of tequila, all top shelf. Indio specializes in cocktail infusions and lets you get most of these for happy hour! Speaking of which...

Late Night Happy Hour: Every weekend with a freaking incredible cerviche for $5, what more do you want? PARKING: $3 parking all night after 6pm

This is a really cool spot to hang out and have great mexican food and drinks with a date. I had the cecina taquitos and the quesadilla. The margaritas where great. With that said, the pricing is on the expensive side for HH. So make sure that you know that going in!

The food was good, but the service was lacking!! The drinks and food were slow to arrive. We intended on ordering more, but the server didn't return until after we gave up. The server assistant did most of the work, and was the one to wish us a good evening as we departed. I wish the service would have stood up to the food so that I could return.

I was really impressed with everything this place had to offer... The margaritas have home made simple syrups, home made sweet sours, fresh fruit purees.. The food is even better! Happy hours 3-6 Everyday and 930-Close friday/Saturday

It is true, the portion sizes are small, but the food is great quality and the cocktails are stiff, yet don't taste it becuase they use good booze. Its fun to indulge!

I ate here last Saturday night, and have concluded that Indio is awesome. It still has that dreadfully slippery floor, but they make a stunning cerviche and delicious, creative margaritas. Plus, all this can be had cheaply during happy hour.
