Figlios the one of the best Happy Hour joints in the city. They just started their 2-for-$2 deals that are just incredible. The food that they offer may be cheap, but it is still tasty and filling. The burgers are the best and most popular, but the pizzas are also of the same high-Figlios-quality that we like to occasionally enjoy. Not to mention the fact that you can choose from a great list of tap beers including Blue Moon, Bell’s, Guinness, etc. Specials are good in the bar area only which causes it to get packed during both the day and the night. The music is usually inaudible over the loud bar room crowd, but is never Top 40 or cheesy dance hits. The crowd varies, but has been getting younger; the 20-30’s crowd is now the common demographic, especially at night and the weekends. If you are more looking for dinner, Figlios offers an Italian bistro style menu with gourmet sandwiches, pastas, and unique food presentations. You can sit outside on their small sidewalk patio or their restaurant room for dinner. Their restaurant is separate of the bar, so don’t worry about being bothered by a more packed and noisy bar crowd. The décor is upscale Uptown style with a focused modern-european theme. Service can vary and has been voiced as a complaint by some, although we’ve never had any notable problems.
