Famous Dave’s is a great BBQ joint focused on creating a huge chain gig. That’s why we were pleasantly surprised to find this Famous Dave’s in the middle of Calhoun Square; the biggest establishment in the building. They have a large open dinner area with a stage and a small dance floor up front. This Dave’s features live local and national acts nightly and cover is usually free or less than $5. They also have a good tap beer selection and great specials every night of the week. Famous Dave’s offers decent food in huge family style proportions, some meal deals are served straight to your table atop an aluminum garbage can lid. Expect dinner prices around $10 a person before drinks, you can also expect great BBQ’d pork, beef, and whole chickens. Famous Dave's also does take-out.

Just went their new HH-Monday -Friday, 2$ taps, $2 house wine, $3 cocktails and amazing food for $2 & $3 bucks! Can't beat it, service was fast and it wasn't packed. Rib tips, BBQ minis, salad, fries, drinks, and more drinks all came to under $20.00, new best HH in Uptown! Yum

Super fast service, great food! Be sure to check out the band "High & Mighty" when they are scheduled to play.

The food is typical Famous Dave's, average. However,the live blues music more than makes for it.

I dig the music. The staff is not so cool. Plus there is nowhere to stand, if you're not eating. The food is great, but, as a live music venue, it sucks! Paul Metsa CAN NOT SING!!!
