El Meson Bistro is a "Spanish-Carribean bistro" that features a lunch time buffet (11am-2pm M-F). Its a popular neighborhood restaurant featuring authentic Carribean-style food (excellent paella, many vegetarian options).

A "Meson" is a country Spanish restaurant, with rustic decor and serving up hearty foods and wines, and thats exactly with El Meson specializes in. El Meson is small, intimate, and dim lit, with private booths, complimented by great wine selections and friendly service. Its not open super late, but totally worth the visit for dinner and evening dining with an excellent wine list. In summer, one of the best things ever is to sit on the small sidewalk patio and sip sangria during happy hour!

I have been here twice. First time service and food were great. Second time, the food was great but the service was horrible! It was very slow in there so he had no excuse.

The service is friendly, but not fast. I think they are trying to embrace the atmosphere of what it would be like if you were dining in Spain; The Food, The Service, the atmosphere - its 100% on!

Good food, good selection of seafood, dark, fun atmostphere-- service is slow though-- if you go on a weekend, expect to wait.

The service is good, food is excellent and their homemade Sangria is to die for.

The dinners are nice with great atmosphere and great spacing. The lunch buffet is good but they don't keep it up until 2 PM. If you get there right away you are ok but after 12 you get whats left and that isn't always good.
