We have been hearing a lot of good things about the Bulldog. In fact, several people have pegged it as their favorite bar....



It is a beer drinkers' wet dream (there are over 20 brands of beer on tap including exotic brews from worldwide and 4 types of Belles) doesn't really seem that special; your typical dress-down neighborhood bar. Beers range from $4-6. However, there is outdoor seating. The patio is fenced in and covered, but it also has heaters that make chilling outside possible for 3 seasons.



The crowd is mixed and many of the patrons play the many games that line the wall. There are also a lot of TV's and although the Bulldog tries to stay away from being dubbed a "sports" bar, it does have satellite TV and shows the big games. The music is played out of the jukebox, Monday night walked in to Metallica's "Unforgiven" and other great hard-rock sounds....If you think that type of music is great. But I guess during off jukebox times music varies by employee. The Bulldog is new (opened less than a year ago) but definitely has its following and is here to stay. It’s worth a look next time you want to hit up a patio for a chill night. Their happy hour is pretty limited, but they serve food until 1am.
