New owners (summer 2007) have updated the space, the food, and the drinks, yet they kept the best parts!
Stub and Herb's is a college sports bar, most likely where your grandparents drank (as the shirts express). Stub and Herb's offers great specials and the chance to be part of a U of M tradition. Patrons are loyal, and they're there on the regular. The music varies as much as the local beers,and the crowd is lively.
There is seating both up and downstairs, as well as a good secluded spot in the back if you are on a quiet date (Ooh la la!). The service is good and the bartenders are friendly. They have a couple of pool tables and most everyone is having a good time. They have Big-10 burgers (including a one pounder) and cute waitresses. Come in a group or come alone, Stub's is close and friendly. THRIFTY TIP- in addition to the above Happy Hours, Stub & Herb's also features $2-3 Cocktails differing by the day with different call liquors.
A perfect place to grab a local favorite, or party while killing the keg.
