The Triple Rock is a Cedar-Riverside favorite and bills itself as an exclusive punk-rock club. Needless to say, the bouncers are intimidating (but surprisingly very friendly) and the crowd is on the alternative side. That being said, you will find no better specials than the ones found here. If you are a beer fan, but not an over-priced beer fan, definitely check this place out. They have a wide tap selection featuring some of the best (and strongest) beers from around the globe. They also have a pool table, golden tee, and a great jukebox. The music is usually punk rock, but the jukebox holds a funny mix of music ranging from underground punk to Frank Sinatra. The Triple Rock used to have outdoor seating, but converted this area to a stage for live music. Live music is every night, but Tuesday when they have the 2for1’s. There is always a cover for the shows, but this only applies if you want to go in the back and watch, the bar area is always free. Great fun and great drinks are to be had here, however, a word of warning: If you are sensitive to smoke, stay away! This place is always smoky regardless of the number of patrons. Somehow, after 5 minutes, even without anyone else here, you feel the insatiable need to wash your clothes.

hands down the best venue in the town, bar can get kinda packed when theres big shows, but the t-rock is never a bad idea

Great place for the people in the U area that are victims to bars like the library (specials are good though). The T-rock is a Todd-free zone (aka broseph's) good shows always come through.

great food, great service. i don't care what the server is wearing as long as they care -- this isn't town hall. take the trip down the block, it's worth it. plus you get to hear through the wall some of the area's best up and coming rock and alternative bands.

Kinda wish breakfast hadn't become so popular, but when something is good, word gets around... go "early" at 10am and you'll find an open table... go when most get out of bed and you'll be standing at the door looking like a loser. Diverse patrons, but I think most of the "real" punks have died or abandoned ship. The crowd really changed when the music venue opened.
