The Triple Rock is a Cedar-Riverside favorite and bills itself as an exclusive punk-rock club. Needless to say, the bouncers are intimidating (but surprisingly very friendly) and the crowd is on the alternative side. That being said, you will find no better specials than the ones found here.

If you are a beer fan, but not an over-priced beer fan, definitely check this place out. They have a wide tap selection featuring some of the best (and strongest) beers from around the globe. They also have a pool table, golden tee, and a great jukebox. The music is usually punk rock, but the jukebox holds a funny mix of music ranging from underground punk to Frank Sinatra. The Triple Rock used to have outdoor seating, but converted this area to a stage for live music. Live music is every night, but Tuesday when they have the 2for1’s. There is always a cover for the shows, but this only applies if you want to go in the back and watch, the bar area is always free. Great fun and great drinks are to be had here, however, a word of warning: If you are sensitive to smoke, stay away! This place is always smoky regardless of the number of patrons. Somehow, after 5 minutes, even without anyone else here, you feel the insatiable need to wash your clothes.
