Town Hall is one of our favorite places for beer drinking; I've been going there for 5 years ever since I was lured there by hot waitresses and micro-brewed beer. The beer is the main draw. There are 6 or so permanent beers and 2 or 3 seasonals all brewed on site. For the hardcore beer consumer you can even choose to have it cask drawn (warmer and unfiltered) like the way beer was meant to be.

Town Hall is in an old theater building and boasts high art-deco ceilings and rich atmosphere. If open, laze in the comfortable couch by the fireplace and watch the game on a big screen TV. Music is bartender's choice, which varies from classic rock, to chill electronic, jazz, and world. The crowd consists of a group of older regulars, but the rest is generally upper 20’s -40. Night draws a more active younger crowd, but it is a laid back place and not much for really “hitting the town.?

Town Hall is a great place to come with a small to large group; there is always ample seating although the patio can get packed in the summer.

Great place to come enjoy an easy night out and indulge in excellent, full-flavored beer, just don't ask for a Miller Lite, you won't find it here. Check out the website for driving directions.

Town Hall Brewery has one of the best brunches in the area. The caramel rolls are to die for. My family and I have been stopping here before the Gopher games. They are open for brunch Saturdays for home Gopher games and Sundays for home Vikings games. There is also a free shuttle to all home gopher games on the 7 corners, running every 15 minutes. Bonus for us. Included in their brunch is a beer, bloody mary or screwdriver. I ordered a Masala Mama IPA. Hands down one of the best IPA's! If your looking for a good breakfast place before a game, Town Hall Brewery is your stop. Their lunch/dinner is great too!. After one of the games, we stopped in and had a couple beers and burgers. Our waitress greeted us with a warm smile and gave us great service (everytime). My husband had the 7 Corners Burger and raved about it the rest of the day. I had a wonderful Mango Shredded Chicken sandwich. Great beer, great service, great food and warm atmosphere.

The beer, albeit handcrafted and local, isn't that great. There are a ton of breweries around that offer delicious selections. The patio is nice. Parking sucks. The food is abominable. They used to have a decent chef, but now it is just Sysco fare. I agree- they can't cook a burger to save their lives. If you haven't been there yet, give it a try. But, you probably won't be back. A great alternative (if you are looking for fantastic micro-brews and absolutely delicious food, try Barley Johns's-- it isn't close but it is definitely worth it).

The beer is not worth the poor service. Incredibly rude bartenders and managers. Definitely pass on this one.

I have evening classes on the West Bank after work, so I have about an hour to kill. Lately, I've been killing that hour at the Town Hall. Nice patio, nice inside. I'm sure the food is fine. But something is wrong with the beer. I don't know if they just haven't cleaned their tap lines in years, or if they just can't brew a beer, but everything I've had has a dirty aftertaste. I finish a pint and have an urge to go suck on a drinking fountain. Even their Amber had this problem. Amber. The one beer I thought would be impossible to screw up. Then again, I've was pretty spoiled with top notch brewpubs before moving to Minneapolis.

5 for the beers for sure - very rarely a beer that is way off the mark in terms of style - but some that are a but wierd. Try the infusion beers, especially the manjo IPA. Food brings this place down a notch. Service has always been stellar for me unless Im on the patio. The happy hour special kind of sucks. Pricey beer no food specials. I leave with a lot less money than Id like. Overall, worth checking out but do it without happy hour in mind - youll wait longer.
