The Kitty Cat Klub has one of the most inviting atmospheres in the city. There are multiple rooms in the club - each unique and completely different. Home to a diverse international crowd, the uber-hip and the somewhat hip. The weekends can be crowded but you can usually find a comfy couch to sit on and enjoy the atmosphere and some of the best drinks in town. Staff and clientele are friendly and if you meet anyone special, remember the moment in the back room photo booth (by the pinball and pool table in back) - the only vintage b&w photo booth in Minneapolis.
Enjoy a summer night on the secluded deck with a great view of Minneapolis. Or, check out the Website for nightly concert schedule. Kitty Cat is a great place for a date and a must-see any other time.
THRIFTY TIP- arrive before 9pm and avoid cover, you can park 2 blocks away across from the Château for free after 9.

Ass wipe bartenders

I love the atmosphere in this place. To me this is what all bars should be. It's comfortable--no hard, plain looking chairs and tables. It has ambiance but is way casual. In a way it's a flashback to the seventies but that's only part of it. I also like that you can hear people talk--at least when I've gone which has always been on Sundays. I see people scattered across the BIG place kicking back and drinking a scotch or whatever. So I think it's a classy type bar where you can sit back and relax.

I went here yesterday for the first time and the atmosphere is fantastic! Nice little porch for outdoor drinking. The only thing is the bartender was super crabby, who knows maybe his girl/boy friend left him or dog died.... I don't know, but that wasn't too appealing being my first time there. When I took a menu to look at to get some food he said (with a grimacing look) "don't forget to bring that back." Then when I ordered the fries, he said to just come back in 10 min. When I did they were luke warm and I don't see why they can't just bring them to your table.. it's not that far away and there was not very many people in there. I will hope for the best next time.

Weekends get a little packed, but it's a great place for the middle of the week. Better yet, for bringing a laptop and enjoying $3 wines on the patio in the early evening. I can't think of any other place in Minneapolis that I frequent to do laptop work, catch up with girlfriends, and take the boyfriend for a date. Personally, I've never had a bad experience with the staff. Cons are that the food isn't bad, but it's lackluster for the price and parking is awful.
