The Kitty Cat Klub has one of the most inviting atmospheres in the city. There are multiple rooms in the club - each unique and completely different. Home to a diverse international crowd, the uber-hip and the somewhat hip. The weekends can be crowded but you can usually find a comfy couch to sit on and enjoy the atmosphere and some of the best drinks in town. Staff and clientele are friendly and if you meet anyone special, remember the moment in the back room photo booth (by the pinball and pool table in back) - the only vintage b&w photo booth in Minneapolis.

Enjoy a summer night on the secluded deck with a great view of Minneapolis. Or, check out the Website for nightly concert schedule. Kitty Cat is a great place for a date and a must-see any other time. THRIFTY TIP- arrive before 9pm and avoid cover, you can park 2 blocks away across from the Château for free after 9.

I think the KCK bartenders are pretty nice... Maybe they just don't like guys??? In general the place is spacious, has a good atmosphere, is sectioned off nicely between the seating areas, and doesn't have as many UofM douche bags as other Dinkytown bars. The only complaint that I have are the bathrooms. There are private stalls just for guys, but women and supposed to use the stalls that are out in the open -- AWFUL idea!!! Nobody needs to hear us ladies unwrapping tampons...

Whu do we expect bartenders to act like chipper, gung ho MN nice girl scouts? The KCK isn't Perkins, after all...if they want to be a little aloof, they can. Don't take the attitude so personally! It fits the vibe. GREAT experimental music.

I really like this bar, but I absolutely agree = the bar tenders unreasonable jerks. They refused to serve me because my license was expired by 3 weeks even though I also had my passport and several other forms of identification. I think they are all on some strange power trip.

There is one, uno, bartender that I can tolerate. Avoid the one named Max, red hair, big guy. Total asshole. The owner is super awesome. Why not hire some cool bartenders? There are a million people that would be happy to work at this place.

Good music, fun atmosphere. The photo booth makes for a good ice breaker. They have a very nice patio. I have to agree with everyone else though, the bartenders are real big assholes and VERY slow. I asked the barback for a menu and he just looked at me and walked away. Would be 5 out of 5 except for the bartenders. Hopefully the owners read this
