Like all the bars on this street, The Joint caters to mostly bikers. They also have one of the best outdoor areas in the whole city becuase it is semi-covered so that you can enjoy the outdoors while protected from the rain. For this reason the summer-time is the best here and it isn't smokey at all. Music is mostly blues and rock. The best is at the end of summer Cedarfest when The Joint teams up with nieghboring bars to put on a large-scale show. Prices also, are always pretty good. Oh, and the bouncers told me that "this is the BEST place in the city to see titties..." if you're into that sort of thing.

lol, I bet if I stepped in here again, the SAME characters would be on the SAME barstools as they were when I last stepped in. Fun place during Cedarfest too!

Joint Bar...where do you begin?! A sunny place for shady people! Where everyone has a drink and everyone has a smile, the bikers mingle with the tourists while debauchery slowly comes to a head.

Good biker-type bar with very frinedly staff. Outdoor backyard is the best in the Twin Cities. Best time for bargain hunters is weekend 10-2 brunch time. Excellent omelettes and hash browns. As good as any in the Twin Cities and better than most. Get a free Bloody Mary with a food purchase to boot! Best brunch bargain in town. They serve stiff mixed drinks here, so be careful if you are riding or driving. You can get plastered in a hurry if you don't watch it.

Great big patio (retractable cover) with plenty of tables and heaters. Ok grub usually, but if you're at the outside grill, it's a good idea to stick around to make sure the cook is paying attention somehow.He tends to get distracted and serve overcooked food. Friendly enough place, even for non-bikers and better (cheaper) drinks than the cabooze so I usually pop over to the Joint to save $$ when I'm there for concerts (plus free popcorn).
