Pretty good joint. Excellent sound, could use some more drink specials. Best club for indie in the cities. Hey Annoyed Musician, maybe you don't get free drinks cause your band sucks.

This place blows, for all the reasons already stated: over-priced drinks, under-staffed, what staff there IS lazy and rude. I saw a comment on here saying their prices are comparable to downtown clubs like First Ave. He's right; the problem is that this place is a dive bar, not a premiere music club like First Ave. The biggest problem with the place is how they treat local bands; in a word, shitty. No pay, no respect...hell, not even a couple of free drinks! The owner is downright antagonistic. The place is lame, and there's much better venues just down the road (Triple Rock, Acadia, Nomad), so don't waste your time and money.

Who are they kidding! They have terrible sound, expensive drinks and expensive door charges. Do your self a favor and book at a decent place like the Triple Rock or the Acadia. The 400 bar is JOKE! Oh they don't pay bands shit!

This place is great. Despite the worn look and feel, this is the best place to see live music in the city. The get the best bands to play there (locally, and nationally) because of the fact that theyre the best. The staff is really awesome and have been nothing but accomodating whenever i've gone to see shows.
