Plums Bar is a household name for any St. Paul college student and it is always on the top of most students lists for places to go on a Thursday or Saturday night when Plums has DJ’s and dancing. The music is usually Top 40 or standard college party night, but there is a jukebox during off times or the occasional local rock band if you want to change it up. It usually gets pretty packed at night, but if you go early you should be able to snag one of their few booths or a nice seat on their patio. The interior is pretty large and the theme is a wooden sports/college bar. Plums also has high ceilings, but can still get pretty smoky during the packed night time hours. They also offer standard bar arcade games and darts, but no pool tables.
