Plums Bar is a household name for any St. Paul college student and it is always on the top of most students lists for places to go on a Thursday or Saturday night when Plums has DJ’s and dancing. The music is usually Top 40 or standard college party night, but there is a jukebox during off times or the occasional local rock band if you want to change it up. It usually gets pretty packed at night, but if you go early you should be able to snag one of their few booths or a nice seat on their patio. The interior is pretty large and the theme is a wooden sports/college bar. Plums also has high ceilings, but can still get pretty smoky during the packed night time hours. They also offer standard bar arcade games and darts, but no pool tables.

it was fun not too loud but good food and the waitress was very friendly.

Again, I agree witht the horrible customer service. An older bartender when I was last there last had a horrible attitude. I felt like a burden. And the time before that it had a trashy ghetto crowd on a weekend night. I am not returning. Too bad, I too remember that it was a good place to go several years back.

Too bad for this bar, it used to be fun. I guess it is still fun if your 19.

AWFUL customer service. The bartenders (the 2 older/middle aged men) are jerks. They looked at my friend and I and literally waved us away from the bar, and continued to ignore us when we asked for a drink. This is the worst customer service I have ever had in the Twin Cities, and will never go back.

Horrible customer service. They tell you one thing and do the other. Will never step foot in there again and will tell everyone I know not too.
