Description

The Muddy Pig is popular for their wide selection of specialty bottled beers. It has the feel of a towny bar, but is quite popular with St. Paul’s service industry. The interior is warm and antique wood; there are even old novels on the shelves if you feel so inclined. The music is classic rock and hippyish. As far as we are concerned, there are no drink specials, EVER! But they are still able to get people inside during the competing happy hours, which gives us a pretty good indication of the regulars’ loyalty and love for it.

Great beer selection and decent food.

I dig the Muddy Pig for lots or reasons. Good whiskey selection; some of the better pub food around. Nachos are great; fish tacos are good; they steam their vegetables; walleye is good; mashed potatoes are good. But I concede to the previous comments regarding it becoming over-priced.
