The Muddy Pig is popular for their wide selection of specialty bottled beers. It has the feel of a towny bar, but is quite popular with St. Paul’s service industry. The interior is warm and antique wood; there are even old novels on the shelves if you feel so inclined. The music is classic rock and hippyish.
As far as we are concerned, there are no drink specials, EVER! But they are still able to get people inside during the competing happy hours, which gives us a pretty good indication of the regulars’ loyalty and love for it.

The Pig is a fun place. I would give it a 5, but the prices are a little higher than I enjoy paying, even for trendy microbrews.

Dont know what the problem is?? If you want a 2.00 Miller go to Billys, if you want a good quality euro beer... you MIGHT have to pay more. I love this bar and would tell anyone to go. If your shocked at the price, why are you ordering it. The prices are listed people. They are ALWAYS packed, they are doing something right!!

I dig the Muddy Pig for lots or reasons. Good whiskey selection; some of the better pub food around. Nachos are great; fish tacos are good; they steam their vegetables; walleye is good; mashed potatoes are good. But I concede to the previous comments regarding it becoming over-priced.

trendy crowd, executive prices, not thrifty but definitely hipster... make that fat wallet hipster or sad skinny wallet hipster. please, help me BOYCOTT the MUDDY PIG until they drop their prices. I live here.
