Gobys is located right next to Plum’s bar, but features a completely different atmosphere and mentality. It’s more of a sports bar and is usually packed by a group of hard core regulars that live in the area. Dress and atmosphere are both casual. Gobys is a popular place for watching the game or enjoying a pint. On tap is the standard 7 beers (most macros), but they also have Guinness. In the back they have 2 pool tables. The bar is pretty big and is lined with large inviting booths and a few TVs (one big screen). The music varies, but on Thursday nights the college kids crowd themselves in to enjoy great drink prices and a cool mix of music.
