Gabe's by the Park is a massive complex on the corner of Energy Park & Lexington Ave. Large wooden booths surround the bar in front for large groups, while game rooms in the back provide pool tables, golden tee, darts, and other arcade games.
The best part about Gabe's is the music; they will play what you want! Usually classic rock and catchy pop during the daytime, when the crowd is older, but then switches to Top 40 and late 90's rock for the younger crowd (mostly college age from 10pm on).
Gabe's is also a Sports Bar, hosting EVERY game from football to golf, there is always a game on and always a special and prizes to go with it!

Well, I was fooled by the few reviews that showed up on the front page. I guess I should've read the entire reviews on every page before I actually went there. I went on a Sunday afternoon hoping to just have a good lunch. The waitress was slow, the food was mediocre (we had wings and soup and salad), and overall it was just terrible. Having to wait 30 minutes for food when there was practically nobody in the bar is unacceptable. Having the waitress mess up the order and not return until AFTER we finished our meal is also unacceptable. I didn't even touch the sandwich that the waitress messed up and just sent it back. The soup was very salty. Overall, the service was bad, the food was below average, and to top it off, they said they couldn't change the channel because they only had three boxes. Now I understand there are die-hard Wild fans and a game was on, but we were the ONLY people in that section and there was no way to change it. Yes, maybe they could in no way change it, but it just seemed like they were too lazy to change it. I am always up for trying out new bars, but this one is the worst one I've been to in a while. Maybe, just maybe, I'll give it another chance, but I doubt it.
