Avoid this bar. Bartenders suck and are rude and the bathrooms are dirty if they have more than 30 people in the place. This place is the infamous "Ace Box Bar" from the '70s, ya know, the place that had a murdered woman in a van in the parking lot! College punks used to come in here and take up space.

I gave it two of the three stars for the Irish music they attract and one star for free popcorn. The service is horrendous, I go to a lot of bars and have only felt less welcome at First Avenue.

Happy Hour specials from 5- 7pm during the week, and they let you order food to your table!!! Have a sub or pizza or chinese food delivered right to your stool at the bar!!!

No specials or happy hours ever and mediocre bartenders.

Its just a good solid bar and its Irish owned.
