Great food, great drinks, great staff. This retro diner is helping to revitalize the East Lake area. What is the best part about the Town Talk Diner? Despite widespread awards, Food Network appearances, and lots of great patron feedback, we still have to wonder, what makes the Town Talk great?
The Drinks? Made by award-winning career bartenders that can tailor a cocktail to any pallet. The feature adult shakes and malts.
The Food? Dedicated chefs with ties to many of the fine dining establishments in Minneapolis provide a gourmet slant to traditional diner food. Popular brunches, excellent burgers, and decadent deserts. Many specials prepared daily all for around $8-14/plate.
The Staff? Possibly the best part of the Town Talk, the staff are probably the best and friendliest (easily the best if cumulative) in the city.
Now open for lunch! Stop in soon, you'll be back every weekend after.

This place is so great - my favorite are the fries with homemade mayo - I have never tasted a condiment that good anywhere else. The food is excellent, but the bar is amazing. The fun drinks they come up with are the main attraction.

I love this place and the staff, but had to decrease my rating because they decreased their hours. As a bar very close to my house I would love to make this more of a regular haunt, but with their new closing time of 11 pm, and opening time of 11 am, it's not so great for a bar scene. Which is too bad because I always had a great time with the other patrons. C'est la vie, plus the food and drinks are still great!
