A true hipster joint, the Chatterbox Pub is located in South Minneapolis, right off Cedar Avenue on 35th street (can take 55 south and exit to the right). The interior is decked out in 80's retro throw-back. Sit and enjoy a long list of beers while playing table-style pac man, or other classic arcade games; and Atari 2600. They also have board games for non-nerds. The music is very similar to the decor, and although they obviously didn't spend too much on the design, it all seems to fit together in perfect harmony. The Chatterbox is a popular place with the neighborhood crowd, and serves excellent bistro style food, with upscale pizzas ($7-12). They also have an extensive wine list. Its worth a visit any night, especially for late night eats, or trivia, the Chatterbox serves food until midnight.
