The Rail Station Bar is a unique little spot in South Minneapolis. It gets its name from the railcar along its side, which, post-smoking ban, will be referred to as the “Smoking Caboose"? They also have a large fenced in patio.

Entering the building guests are greeted by a pleasant and busy atmosphere lined with neon beer signs, rail station decor, and usually some type of game on the TV’s. Many people come for lunch and dinner as the Rail Station has built its name on the tasty large sandwiches ($7ish) and MN-sized dinner portions ($11ish).

Music and crowd are both chill, with classic rock tunes and mixed-age regulars filling the space. Dress is causal, parking is free in the lot, staff is friendly, and fun times await! Stop by soon!

I have never had a bad meal. The buffalo wings are fantastic. I think they have wing specials on Tuesdays.

Local neighborhood feel, cheap drinks and GREAT food! Wednesday was "mens night" all guys could drink for 9 bucks...and a hot bartender to boot! I'm home!
