once upon a time pepitos quality matched the price. now the portions are smaller, the quality has slipped, and the prices have skyrocketed. still love the place and hope the management wakes up before it's too late. say it isn't so joe -bring back the big booths.

Used to like Pepitos until they raised the prices several times in a year. The food and service absolutely do not justify the price. Will never be back. Have actually discussed this with numerous friends who used to eat/drink regularly at Pepitos. Was told not to go back but I gave it one more shot. My bad.

Outstanding and the price is right.

I wish there was a something lower than 1 star. The service here is awful and the food is even worse. Avoid at all costs.

I am very surprised at the negative views expressed here. I've been going to Pepitos for almost 15 years. At 16 years old, when I got some wheels, a girl and few bucks in my pocket.....I'd throw down some chips/guac & an El Gordo burrito. This item is no longer on the menu, but you can still order it. This was before Chipotle people! Since moving closer to this spot, I could easily eat here every week. The Mexican sandwiches are huge & tasty. The fish tacos are good. The lunch buffet is AWESOME & their Mexican Sunday brunch is KING, especially when the Vikes play. I judge Mexican joints by their refried beans & guacamole....they pass the test. The prices are reasonable for the portions, so good trade-off in that there is no cheap food happy hour. I've heard their margaritas are phenominal, but I usually do a mexican tap cerveca. Th-Sat, you'll have to wait cuz all ages in South knows that this is a staple in the neighborhood.
