La Vina Restaurant is a charming Latin event center and restaurant. Located on the border of Uptown near the Midtown Market in South Minneapolis... A mixed crowd of area hipsters and Latino regulars makes La Vina a neat spot to check out. They feature a menu full of authentic Ecuadorian and Mexican dishes ($7-14) including a large list of seafoods and steaks ($9-16), but also salads, and breakfasts ($6-8) topped with plantains and avocado.
La Vina is sparsely decorated, with high ceilings, small tables, and booths; the happy hour list is extensive and includes specialty martinis made with top shelf liquors for $3 and excellent food options! La Vina also has a large banquet area for planning special events.
Overall, La Vina Restaurant is a neat little authentic restaurant with killer happy hour and friendly service. Its definitely worth a try if you're in the area for happy hour or if you need a restaurant to impress your friends that you know about it. A small lot is available for parking, but you can also get a street spot on 4th.
