La Chaya is a new restaurant in south Minneapolis best visited for fine dining. Food is fresh, organic, gourmet Mexican, but the chef is also trained in Italian food, meaning you have many great Italian/Mexican entrees ($14-25), pizzas ($10-14), and an interesting fusion of the 2 cuisines. We ate brnch here and really enjoyed the food and the service. The is good variety on the menu and things are very fresh tasting. We will return.
