A true hipster joint, the Chatterbox Pub is located in South Minneapolis, right off Cedar Avenue on 35th street (can take 55 south and exit to the right). The interior is decked out in 80's classic style. Sit and enjoy a long list of beers while playing a table-style pac man or other classic arcade games and Atari 2600 or board games. The music is very similar to the decor, and although they obviously didn't spend too much on the design, it all seems to fit together in perfect harmony. The Chatterbox is a popular place with the nieghborhood crowd and serves excellent bistro style food and upscale pizzas ($8-12). They also have an extensive wine list. Its worth a visit any night, especially for late night eats, the Chatterbox serves food until midnight.

Neat place, lots of cool stuff to look at. But they put sake in their bloody mary's. gross! I didn't know it was a wine and beer bar, so I had no clue they didn't have vodka. I wish someone would've told me that. They didn't have any normal food food either. There was a "twist" on everything. Like, I wanted ranch dressing on my sald, but they only had chipolte ranch. That was kind of annoying. They were all real nice though.

I don't really frequent this bar even though it is walking distance to my house..the only reason really is that I am too old to hang out in that bar..which is okay..the young'ns need a place to hang out where a bunch of middle age people are not...there are plenty of other choices for us. BUT..I have to comment...I did stop there one day...and was charged $4.25 for a tap beer...What is up with that?? How can these young people afford that...that is highway robbery. I don't even spend that much on a bottle beer or alot of times...not even on a mixed drink...AND..I didn't even like the beer..and only choked it down because it was so expensive. Maybe think about adjusting your prices alittle bit..so you don't choke the Southsiders!!

Hi everyone. Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there. I am from Libya and also am speaking English, give please true I wrote the following sentence: "Someone asked me how to write a winning resume, and the question took me by surprise." Thank you very much :o. Elissa.

Definitely overpriced on the food. Good beer, decent atmosphere but in dire need of ventilation from the kitchen. If you want to walk out of a place smelling like fried food then you should feel at home! Try the Edina one

It's worth a visit because it's unique but it's over priced.
