The newly remodeled Front Cafe has quietly made some significant improvements to what was already a pretty kick-ass Northeast bar and dance club. Now offering a full menu in the dining room, The Front is no longer just a weekend hot spot, but a great place to go any night of the week. Of course, if you're in the mood to go out, the late night entertainment is top-notch. Monday offers one of the best Salsa nights in the Cities, and Friday and Saturday nights don't slow down until last call. Any way you slice it, if you haven't been to The Front before, or just haven't been since it reopened, it's truly a great place to go in Northeast, and one that is not to be skipped.
Great specialty margaritas fresh for the summer!

The food was amazing! But unfortunately the owner/DJ/Greedy bastard Mark, is a cheapskate and treats his staff as slaves. If he won't even pay his staff properly and make them wait until it's "busy" he'll def jew you out of a $6 weak cocktail. The bartenders are rude. They had 2 fun girls in the spring time - what happened? Also, does anyone know where Rolando is working now? Amazing chef!!

They did had good food, I guess they dont have a Costa Rican chef anymore which is a shame, the only place in MN, and owner closes the kitchen or whatever the case was. Big mistake. On the door says they will have more food, I find it hard to survive with the regulat amarican food. The Chef they had it was awesome. Too bad for the Front.

The new menu is AWESOME. Best Costa Rican food in town. I've ate here twice now, and was equally satisfied both times. It's a shame that it hasn't been very busy, cause they have a great Chef. He even came out to say hi, and tell us a little about himself and see how we liked the food. Great overall experience.
