Love the atmosphere and the food. It's a bar - what is wrong with a bartender drinking...so, if you work as a waiter - you can't eat food? Or if you work at an office - you can use the paperclips/staples for your own personal use. Get a grip people...let loose and have fun!!

I agree w not ur manager. I don't go to the spring anymore mainly because of the horrible service I received(or didn't) from the intoxicated servers. Not once but often!

N.Y.M......you're seriously goign to de-grade a place for letting the employees partake in the fun? You ust not have a lot of experience as a bar aptron, because plenty of places let their barenders partake while on the clock. It's ALL good. You worry about your minions, and this bar will worry about theirs! I've never had a bad time at the SS. Keep it up!

I was in this bar 2 weeks ago. The food was good. Loved the breakfast burrito and my service was great. On the downside I'm a bar manager, and It was surprising to see the staff drinking? It seems from reading other posts on here that this is the norm. I find it to be a liability to this establishment. The staff is impaired right? How can they make their best judgement calls. Besides that how are your liquor cost?! I can't even imagine. I've never been to a job of any kind where they allowed me to drink and pay me too.

the best breakfast burrito in the twin cities! If you dont like drunk bartenders, then dont order from one!
