Sustainable, organic, and local. The Red Stag Supper Club is a great neighborhood joint new to Northeast Minneapolis with a menu created by Chef William Baskin formerly of Cosmos Minneapolis focusing on fresh and seasonal products. They also have a unique twist to a lot of traditional dishes... Small plates: ($1-10) including Mac & Cheese (with lobster & truffle), Smelt Fries (RECOMMENDED), and Big Plates: Steaks, Fish, Stroganoff, and many other great options ($15-25). They also have a liquor list with hard to find, yet high quality boozes and a large and diverse tap list with something for every beer lover.
As the first LEED-Certified restaurant in Minneapolis, the Red Stag is a new concept blending health (both personal and environmental) and lifestyle into one incredible place to eat.

Red Stag is such a perfect addition to Northeast! Had drinks and dinner there on Saturday. The bartenders are outstanding (ask them for a wooden nickel)and the food was unique and delicious. I strongly recommend the mac & chz but steer clear of the pork.

Hit up the Red Stag with a group early on. The dining room was way too cold and the service was far too slow. But all the food was good and the veal casserole was phenominal. I'm confident they'll figure it out (service and proper temp) and become great!
