Sustainable, organic, and local. The Red Stag Supper Club is a great neighborhood joint new to Northeast Minneapolis with a menu created by Chef William Baskin formerly of Cosmos Minneapolis focusing on fresh and seasonal products. They also have a unique twist to a lot of traditional dishes... Small plates: ($1-10) including Mac & Cheese (with lobster & truffle), Smelt Fries (RECOMMENDED), and Big Plates: Steaks, Fish, Stroganoff, and many other great options ($15-25). They also have a liquor list with hard to find, yet high quality boozes and a large and diverse tap list with something for every beer lover.

As the first LEED-Certified restaurant in Minneapolis, the Red Stag is a new concept blending health (both personal and environmental) and lifestyle into one incredible place to eat.

First time visit with two other couples on 12/13/08, based on a friends recommendation. Service was good and I liked the atmosphere. I had the pork chop, it was ok. Dustin Hoffman and his wife were there with another couple having diner. I recommend the Newcastle on tap.

Hey Mike W., just so you know, there is no Canadian side of Lake Michigan. It is wholly contained by the U.S.A..

Amazing food which makes it worth the visit even though they could use more servers during peak hours…we sat waiting for very long dead periods in between being seated/ first drink order/ meal order/ check. An extra server would have helped out a couple of tables from having to look at their watches. Hopefully this will be fixed because I’ll be going back for the food.

Excellent cocktails, really nice bartenders that pour them stiff, environmentally friendly, hip, great music, chill atmosphere, excellent food; I'm going to be a regular for their late night happy hour I think!
