A nice little Tiki Bar in Northeast Minneapolis. They have an excellent outdoor patio and rum drinks that will knock you straight off your chair and into the water. They also have excellent pizzas ($12-18). The crowd is mostly tatooed and hip (think CC Club of Northeast).
Check it out, the only place in the city where "Your petty concerns of authenticity are irrelevant" - Psycho Suzi.

food and drinks are good. awesome patio. i like it. i never did mind the little things, like alleged slow service. that just gives me more time to hang out with my friends! :)

Loved the patio! The drinks were reasonable, and very tasty. Service was friendly and prompt.

I've been there 2 times with a large group. Both times I've been there, our tab has been incorrect. They refuse to split the tab so that they can confuse the hell out of you, and end up charging for whatever they want. We were over charged by over $100, and there wasn't a damn thing we could do about it but pay. They played head games with us until we were so confused that we said screw it and paid and left. While the patio is great fun, I will never go back, nor will anyone in our large group. I don't know why people go back to this place when it has such a horrible reputation. The food is not good either. Save yourself money, and don't let them ruin your night! Also, the people sitting by us said they've encounter the same type of scam in the past there. (Not sure why they came back!)

service is the worst in mpls. talk about attitude. i don't understand why people think this place is fun. you sit around and wait for a bitch to bring you drinks. go across the street to tony jaros and try a greenie. now THAT'S fun.

The servers are lazy and sluggish. I get the laid back Tiki-tude, but they take it to another level. Sloth from Goonies comes to mind. Anyways the prices for pizza are outrageous, and as for an $11 cocktail, and it's "rental" mug? WTF. Ours conventiently forgot to take the deposit off our check, which only made her tip more undeserving. The patio is overrated, especially when Digger is next door pumpin' quarters into the car vac, while his trailer mistress shaves her legs in the backseat of his '85 T-top; but then again I guess it IS a MOTOR Lounge ;{
