Good beer selection, though a bit pricey. Love the atmosphere and the feel of old Minneapolis. Mainstreeter burger is fantastic. Service can be slow during busy times.

re: thePabster - yes i know the comment was made a while ago.... You realize in other countries people can smoke just about everywhere, and dogs are allowed in a lot of restaurants. The US is much more restrictive, i wish our public smoking/pet laws were more like Italy for example.

I always have great service and good conversation with the bartenders. They are willing to let you try different samples, as long as you don't take advantage of "samples." It has a great river view and good food.

Food is incredibly over-priced and sub-par. Good beer and amazing patio overlooking the river/skyline. We only go here in the summer.

Food is only alright and over priced, sure. But I give the rating for the 3 dollar domestic micro taps everyday of the week. The selection changes often and offers a good variety of beers. The bar staff knows a good deal about their beers and seem happy to chat and give recommendations and samples. I'm into beer and this is one of the best happy hours for beer.
