Thrifty Hipster

First we sat down and no one acknowledged our presence for the first 15 minutes. Finally a waiter came and we ordered two bottles of beer each (no taps available). It took about 5-10 minutes to get these. We were enjoying our beers in the sun and after our first we were considering ordering food... No waiter to be found. Our waiter didn't even stop by once after we had finished our second beer. After finishing our drinks and waiting over 10 minutes we went to find the manager because it was ridiculous that our waiter had not checked in with us not even to offer us our bill... My conversation with the manager: I explained my frustration that our waiter was unavailable, and all he could say was "he is overwhelmed"... I explained to him that I have no consideration for him being overwhelmed and that he could have apologized and offered to make things better for us. No such thing was offered. He was rude and told me that all this time (by this he meant a 2 minute conversation) he was talking to me he could be helping other people. To clarify I asked him if that meant that all the other customers are more important then providing normal service to me... And he just went on by stating that he could be spending this time helping other people. In conclusion, horrible service not a place to take my business.

The service: terrible We sat for 10-15 minutes before any server noticed us. Took 5-10 more minutes to grab four bottled beers (they don't have tap beers by the way) and didn't return for the next 45 minutes. Manager: terrible We finally had to find the waiter to pay. Manager didn't think any of this was a problem. Was very confrontational. Didn't eat the food but it certainly looked terrible. Wow what a terrible place. Everyone should make sure to avoid this place.

It's gone downhill... used to be fun with cheap drinks. The menus in the restaurant are different from the one on their website; a lot of the stuff online isn't actually available. The last time I was there, the waitress said they didn't have any food specials anymore, and they don't have the tacos anymore. Then a guy sitting near me ordered the tacos (from a different server), so either the server was lying or the available food changes for different customers.

the drinks were amazing! Happy hour has great prices too. Really nice view of Minneapolis, good looking staff, good service ( at least for me ) I gave it 4 out of 5 because to me it could have been spiced up some more, after all isn't that what Picosa means.

I was very excited to find this neat looking place with a fun atmosphere in my new neighborhood. Dinner: Upon my first visit I ordered a shrimp and scallops meal. Once the food arrived I noticed there were no scallops on my plate. Only after asking about the missing scallops did my waitress tell me that the chief "sends his apology, they ran out of scallops and he added extra shrimp to my plate to make up for it." I was asked if I wanted even more shrimp for the mix-up. I have to say the missing scallops bummed me out as I love scallops and it was the main reason for ordering the dish. Overall our meals (there were four of us) were very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Willing to ignore one mistake, and a bad waitress, I visited again for happy hour. Happy Hour: There were two of us. We ordered drinks, empanadas and tacos. The drinks were awful and we left them half full (note: We are not picky drinkers, especially at Happy Hour prices). The tacos were flavorless and the empanadas tasted like greasy chicken fingers with unidentifiable meat shoved inside. We pretty much ran out of there and still can’t shake the disappointment. Service: Very bad. Comment is already to long to explain.
