I just returned from a trip to Minneapolis. This bar originated in 1950 and added on through the sixties. It still has the sixties look and feel. The beers were very well priced, Bud Light in a bottle, $4.50. The lady in the corner has been there since '82 and the folks in this neighborhood bar, since 1962! Great atmosphere wonderful people!!! Must see when in or around Minneapolis.

If you think this is $$$, LoveMe is right (see below), get a better job! The prices are TOTALLY reasonable, do you go out much? Atmosphere is classic NE MPLS wouldn't change a thing. Food is always great and the music is one of a kind. A true MPLS tradition.

The food is average at best. The drinks are great. The decor is wonderful and the live entertainment is a blast. The hipster frat boys need to stay on campus. The service is exceptional and the server Kathy is the hottest in town. Nye's is worth a visit just to have Kathy wait on you.

Coming from a woman: To all of you imbeciles who think this bar is $$$ Get a f'ing life. Actually, first, get a better job so you can afford the drinks. Then, I hope I won't have to hear you gripe aloud to your douche-baggy friends while I'm trying to enjoy my j+c. *Note, complaining is never attractive. If you think this place is too expensive, take your K-Swiss down the street. This place does more business than "your mom," and doesn't need your crappy tips and complaints.
