Red pleather, old school lighting, and a unique lineup of organ-playing 80 year old singers make this one of the most interesting piano bars in the city.
A long list of regulars from the neighborhood, both young and old gather here to sing or just sip martinis. The menu consists of dumplings, sausages, and other polish delights, but most patrons just go for the drinks. A great place when trying to "enjoy yourself Polish Style".

Despite all the hating on here I will still say the drinks are too expensive here... and yeah I do get out... maybe too much hence the need for thriftiness. I like the atmosphere of it though.

I just returned from a trip to Minneapolis. This bar originated in 1950 and added on through the sixties. It still has the sixties look and feel. The beers were very well priced, Bud Light in a bottle, $4.50. The lady in the corner has been there since '82 and the folks in this neighborhood bar, since 1962! Great atmosphere wonderful people!!! Must see when in or around Minneapolis.

If you think this is $$$, LoveMe is right (see below), get a better job! The prices are TOTALLY reasonable, do you go out much? Atmosphere is classic NE MPLS wouldn't change a thing. Food is always great and the music is one of a kind. A true MPLS tradition.

The food is average at best. The drinks are great. The decor is wonderful and the live entertainment is a blast. The hipster frat boys need to stay on campus. The service is exceptional and the server Kathy is the hottest in town. Nye's is worth a visit just to have Kathy wait on you.
