Mayslacks is a classic bar featuring 2 large rooms and live music on the weekend. Most people are mid to upper 20's Northeast residents that are always down for a good time. The place is pretty big and has large wood booths in the bar. The other room is for shows, often blues, rock, or jam bands. They open this room up for dancing, moving the tables to the back. Mayslacks gets a little rowdy on the weekend, charges cover (usually $0-5), and is hit or miss depending on the band, but is definitely worth checking out as a way to get away from downtown.

Not a bad joint. Food is decent, drink specials are better. Best part-it's not downtown.

I've lived in Mpls for years and only heard about the legendary Mayslack's. I finally went there and it has quickly become a favorite bar. The waitresses are hot and I've never had a problem with service. The bartenders are smart asses but only in a good way. They make it fun!! I guess some people just can't take a joke. The wings they have on Wednesday's are awesome!!! It's the best dive bar in town!!!

This place blows. Not only does the service suck, but they notoriously over charge. Beware of the full price charging during $2 happy hour. If you're not a regular, they'll try to get you for full fare. The parking lot is a nightmare and cars get hit on a regular basis. Your better off to park in the street.

This is my favorite bar but don't go there for the service, unless you want a huge boner, they are hot. Taco Tuesdays is amazing and so is happy hour.
