Grumpy's is a townie bar done right. Neighborhood & Hipster regulars merge to make a mixed crowd and down strong drinks while listening to Rock & Roll. You go to Grumpy's NE to have fun, mingle with a mixed crowd, and partake in numerous excellent beer choices.

The bar is small, but its the staff and the crowd that make it so special. Strong drinks, unique events, and a welcoming atmosphere are the things that make this one of the best bars in Northeast. Food is limited to pizzas and other snacks, but people don't come for the food, they come for great beer selection and great cocktails at discount prices (compared to downtown).

A great spot for any a chill evening...Also an outdoor smoking fire pit keeps the smokers warm.

Grumpy's is fantastic - great beer selection and Tony is the best bartender in town. Nice to have a joint for the misfits in town.

sometimes it can get a little too crowded but who cares! it has the best pint of guinness northeast and all the bartenders are super cool.

Hit or miss - depending on bartenders. You might think you were uptown by the way some of these barkeeps point their greasy noses up in the air. RIP Sullys 1

Lebowski: the world's tiniest violin plays for you. Stop being such a crusty 30 year old hipster and enjoy the atmosphere. I would worry more about the place getting filled with douchebags from gasthov's after oktoberfest. One of the best damned jukeboxes I've found. And still has yet to be completely overrun by uptownies and party buses.
