Elsie’s is a Restaurant, Bar, and Bowling center located right across the Hennepin Avenue bridge from downtown, and a little further north. It’s a recently remodeled and huge bowling alley to accommodate multiple parties…

The best part about Elsie's is the atmosphere. Choose a classic wooden bar with dim lighting and comfy chairs, or, bowl in a neon lit-up alley thats loud and wild. They even have a few private rooms if thats what you're wanting for your group.

The crowd is very mixed, and ranges from young hipsters to blue-collar 50-somethings, but EVERYONE gets along great! You see, they have this mentality: If you are cool enough to know about it, you are cool enough to be treated like a regular even if you are in the minority few that aren’t. You don’t have to worry about what you wear or say, its all been seen and accepted here; worrying would only make people grumpy and that attitude just doesn’t fly here. So the next time you are looking for something fun and different to do, come down and spend the night bowling at Elsie’s and enjoy the fun and laidback atmosphere that the regulars come here for.

Bowling: League bowling M-F: 6:30pm-9:30pm, and various times on the weekend, but otherwise its open bowl. Its best to just call for bowling. The bar and their famous martinis available anytime.
