Thrifty Hipster

This place is great as far as I'm concerned. The drinks are decent and the people are cool. I enjoy that it's a smaller bar with a diverse collection of people. I always have good conversations and a good time here.

i would come back to town house more often if the music didn't suck and if paying 5 bucks cover was worth it. i solely come to people watch now, once in a blue moon...And would it kill the door man to smile once in a while...jeez.... the drinks are made well but the wed night dj plays crap. maybe if he could stop with the 80s tunes and the not-so-hot-anymore hits... that would totally swing some thumbs up and put some bodies on the dance floor....

This place is like a nightly John Waters movie... Such a freakshow....It kinda gives the term "blue collar" a bad name But I suppose that kinda thing can be fun every once in a while

the town house is the oldest longest lasting gay bar in st.paul i been going there for the past 20+ yrs it is a mix bar and friendly to unlike others no name to bad some people dont like it but i love it .it is a neighbor hood friendly bar

Never been, but apparently Wednesday nights are the nights for dudes at the Clown House.
