The Gay 90s is one of Minneapolis' best clubs. I've heard lots of random stories about the 90s, but the only thing I can tell you for certain is that the weekends here are the best! the drinks are the best! and the music is the best! E-tones, one of Minneapolis' best house djs is a resident here on Sunday nites (as well as other nites). The Gay 90s also offers great drink specials and multiple levels featuring different themes, decors, and seating in which to enjoy the sweet buzz of the alcohol.
Perhaps the most famous part of the 90s is their drag show. I can honestly say some of these men really know how to shake it like a lady. um.
check it out, it is definitely worth a visit, especially for the music.

Stiff drinks warning. If you walk in for a few drinks you'll wake up the next day with a sore butthole and a funny taste in your mouth.

the bar should at least have some strippers that don't look so puny, if they were rated they would be rated a two on a scale of ten being the best.

I love this place. I have been to every club downtown but always have the most fun here. I am straight and a female and always go with a mixture of friends. The drinks are always fantastic. The music is consistently good. The drag show is awesome!
