2.8 out of 5 (from 38 users)Trocaderos is an upscale, modern, and classy nightclub, restaurant, and a lounge on the far end of downtown at the start of the Minneapolis Warehouse district. One of the newest super-clubs in the city, Trocaderos boasts a 3-level space for customers to spend the entire night (dinner AND dancing). The menu is an eclectic mix gourmet European cuisine (entrees are $12-20), specializing in seafood dishes (especially the Calamari, only $3.50 during happy hour!) and contemporary presentation. They also serve up interesting cocktails and have an excellent tap beer selection of Guinness, Blue Moon, Summit, and many more ($3 during Happy Hour). Very accommodating to large groups, an upper level VIP, and large dancefloor make Trocaderos a great pick for a night out. As a live music venue, Trocaderos caters bands and music to all ages and genres depending on the night. Expect live music after dinner Thurs-Sat (w/ a small $5-10 cover).

Curious about their Sunday Brunch we stopped in. It was pretty good and there was a huge selection. Some “boxed and canned” items but there were some good surprises as well such as pasta salads, good meat and a chocolate fountain. If you get the mimosa be prepared to drink at least 3 to get your money’s worth. It is $10 for unlimited refills. Overall, Granite City is still a better brunch in this price range.
