Just a friendly place. Awesome DJ when I was there on a Wed! Cheap for downtown, and drinks were well-made. Could work on the decor a bit, though... its plain and its openness is a tad awkward unless you're there on a weekend or with a bunch of friends.

There happy hour is unbelievable! I went on a Friday afternoon after work and had an awesome time with my co-workers. You can't beat the $3 dollar drink specials and the service was great. Thanks for showing my friends and I a great time Landon!

Great happy hour. It seems like they have new staff because they are back to throwing a great party on the weekends. No cover. Cool people. Great music. Lots of birthdays and bachelor parties so there's usually a good crowd, and a pretty cool place to hang out on the front deck. Not quite a nightclub, but I recommend going there...there's a reason they are still around...I know I'll keep going.

Friday Happy Hours are where this place rocks. Free Food. Cant argue that. Just watch out for events. They pull it early(like every place else).

I happen to love Rosen's. I have been going there occasionally on fridays and saturdays for the past couple of years. It is not as lit up or as new as some of the new bars, but Rosens is better than most. Why? The D.J. is easy to talk to and usually always rocks, and you don't have to be a fly girl or big pimp to be treated well. Thanks for all the good times Rosens! I will see you all soon again, don't ever change!

A lot of people I know don't like this bar. Heck, a lot of people I don't know hate this bar. I've heard many times, "This bar sucks!" I know for a fact that people do not like this bar, and I'm passing on the comment that people think Rosen's suck. Sorry for being so crass, but that's what I hear all the time.

I have NEVER had a bad experience at Rosen's or the District before. I know for a fact that none of their booze is watered down as some people have commented on. All of the servers/bartenders have been nothing but friendly to me each time I have visited this establishment. This website is supposed to be for comments, not trash-talking...Keep that in mind!

The happy hour specials are missleading. The buffet rarely goes untill 7 (lately it's been gone by 6) everytime I've stopped in. The bartenders are usually (not always)lame,and I highly suspect they water down their liquors. I know they put WAY too much mix in their cocktails (including beer into margaritas...ish!) and don't even know how to make a lot of simple drinks. The food is ok. The service tends to be slow, and apparently there is a high turn-over (or else the waitress doesn't recognise me and just uses the same excuse for being slow as HELL consistently) because I always get the "Oh, I'm just SOOOO swamped because one of the other servers walked out and I'm working extra hard" speil almost every time I go in there on a Friday. It's all very fishy. It's not a bad place......I just can't say it's good, and it seems to be going down hill.

Waitress was very rude. Wouldn't give me happy hour price 5 minutes before it was over. They claimed their computer time was already 5pm. We referenced the time on our cellphone which is set by the phone company. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!

Rosen's got a lot of problems. What the f is wrong with them? There's workers that swap cheaper liquor into mainstream liquor bottles(Captain Morgan/Absolut) and a bouncer that beats the lights out of females (Gordo). They all need a course on Business Ethics. Clearly Rosen's sucks. Word

Oh my gosh to the last comment. I totally know who you're talking about and I think it is his name. Apparently, that's the word that's going around: that the tall blonde (strawberry blonde) bouncer is a woman-beater. He definitely needs help or anger management or some 12-step program of some sort. Why is he beating up girls? I don't know what his problem is, but he needs to stop and get some seriously help. That's too bad he works there because he's giving the bar a bad name. Woman-beating bouncer working at Rosen's does not sound good.

Great bar (great managers and workers) but beware of the tall blonde/strawberry blonde bouncer (Gordo is his name????????)--he is not afraid to beat up girls and gets physical with them. He would b*tchslap any female and has done that. The sad part is that he'll deny it. Wifebeater is what he is. So for all ladies who go there, watch out for the tall slender bouncer with blonde/strawberry blonde hair. Don't be a victim! Good bar otherwise.

I asked for one song (I wasn't drunk or screaming at him) and the DJ was rude to me. I even asked for a song you hear all the time on KDWB. He needs to get over himself.

Been there a bunch. Don't pay for anything but rail, I watched a someone (manager/barback???) when I finally got close to the front of waiting in the long ass line for the bathroom, decent liquor refilling Morgan and Absolute with cheaper liquor.... That has got to be illegal

Worst bar in downtown!!! Its like a frat party with a cover. Tons of alpha male d-bags with daddys credit cards running around. Horrible service, you might wait for 20 min at the bar for a drink. Any bar within walking distance is a better choise.

We stop here every time we go out downtown. Only 2 dollars to get in and and lots of people. The drinks are a litle pricey but there's lots of places to sit and an awesome dance floor.

Had a great time last Friday night, had premo mixed drinks for 3.25, just missed the free buffet from 4-7pm on friday though. The bar staff was awesome!

I liked this place- the music was dece, and I love that they had specials on a Friday night! Yum yum appetizers. However, our waitress sucked... Another one made up for her, but still, it took forever. Otherwise good!

This place is a great place to start out the night w their drink specials, and service is really fast. They need to remodel because it stinks inside, but by 10 with the way they mix drinks it doesn't seem as bad

I don't know, you people are too critical. Hot ladies hang here and drinks are a bit cheaper than neighboring bars. It could maybe use a facelift, but its always a good spot to go.

best hour hour in TC, no cover, 2 buck drinks till the youngsters show up after 10, also free food till 6 on Friday. Don't show up when Wolves play because no drink or eats specials, also you'll have to put up with the jock sniffers.

I can't believe my luck in finding a place with $2 you call it (any brand of alcohol) on Friday night from 4-8. That kicks ass people. Apps are usually on sale too, $2 off. Good flat screen TVs, nice places to sit on the south side. I actually like their food a lot too!

I'd give this place negative stars if I could. Went there once, ordered a Vodka-Cranberry. Got all Cranberry, no vodka. Complained about it to the barkeep, and was told that the drink was just fine. WEAK drinks, ZERO customer care, what's not to like?

The bouncers are real a**holes! They are immature and rude with no respect for their patrons. They like to act like they are all powerful, like they have some sort of authority.

Man, this place sucks an it is full of unpleasant people, got into a fight with a manager and the guy was just a huge jerk, didn't make any effort to rectify the problems.

Rosens is awsome it actually has new drink specials on friday. Everything except top shelf liquor and bottles that are not domestic are $2. It may just look like your regular old bar, but look around the staff is hot and not to mention how much fun they have with the customers. Check it out you'll love it.
